To provide a carriage type transporter in which discharge of articles stacked on a carriage can be speedily conducted at a prescribed position, in which a drive source or a control device is not required to achieve excellent economic performance or maintenance performance, and in which waste can be processed in accordance with its purpose of use to achieve excellent universality.

This carriage type transporter is composed of a carriage transport passage 11 disposed with inclination as a whole, the carriage 12 provided with wheels to be applied to inner wall surfaces of the carriage transport passage 11 to be movable with articles stacked on it, an article input/output part 13 disposed to be opened at an upper part of the carriage 12, a carriage vertically inverting part 14 formed in the carriage transport passage 11 to be U-bent in a vertical direction on the downstream side, and a hopper part 15 disposed right under the carriage vertically inverting part 14 to store the articles discharged from the article input/output part 13 when it is vertically inverted.
