To provide a carriage with a caster, capable of lifting the caster in a state of placing a carrying object.

This carriage with the caster includes: a baseplate 3 having the caster 2; a bracket 4 fixed to the baseplate 3; an operation member 5 having a pedal 14 and rotatably supported by the bracket 4; a grounding member 6 liftably supported by the baseplate 3 in a state of rotatably connecting one end thereof to the operation member 5, grounded by downwardly moving in the direction for separating from the baseplate 3 in response to operation of the pedal 14 and putting at least one caster 2 in a state of separating from the ground surface; an operation member locking member 7 for fixing the operation member 5 in a state of grounding the grounding member 6; a pedal 27; and an operation member locking releasing member 8 for releasing a state of fixing the operation member 5 by the operation member locking member 7 in response to operation of the pedal 27. The pedal 14 and the pedal 27 are arranged so as to project outward from a peripheral edge part of the baseplate 3.
