Abstract:
To provide a carriage having a function for imparting a steering angle to a front wheel and a rear wheel, and capable of backing straightly and properly.
A carriage includes a lock mechanism switchable between an allowable state for allowing a steering mechanism 6 to impart a steering angle to each wheel 5, and a lock state for locking the steering mechanism 6 to a carriage body 4 in the state where each wheel 5 is directed to the same direction respectively. In the lock mechanism, the lock state is obtained by stopping a tow car body 2, and the lock state is switched to the allowable state by allowing the tow car body 2 to advance from the stop state, and the lock state is maintained while the tow car body is backing from the stop state.
