The carrier for the bicycle is provided with a carrier body 11 made up of hollow pipe materials, two first fitting members 12 made up of solid pipe materials and whose respective one sides are flatly formed and provided with connecting holes 12b to the seat stay 2, and two second fitting members 13 made up of solid bar materials and whose respective one sides are flatly formed and provided with connecting holes 13b to the rear hub 6. The nonflat end parts 12c of the first fitting members 12 are respectively inserted into the respective leg parts 11a on the side of the seat stay 2 of the carrier body it and fixed, and the nonflat end parts 13c of the second fitting members 13 are respectively inserted into the respective leg parts 11b on the side of the rear hub 6 of the carrier body 11 and fixed.
