Abstract:
To provide a carrier for culturing cells, capable of growing the cells in a multilayered state.
This carrier for culturing the cells is formed out of a carbon fiber given by a vapor growth method, wherein the carbon fiber is structured so that bottomless cup-shaped carbon reticular layers are accumulated and end faces of the accumulated carbon reticular layers are exposed.
