To provide a carrier device capable of eliminating possibility of powder dusting and of successively carrying a workpiece in the carrier device using a wire serving as a carrying means.

This carrier device is provided with a first wire conveyor 1 and a second wire conveyor 2. Two pairs of wire conveyors 1, 2 can be rotated in normal and reverse directions, and are provided with two or more wire units 3 separated from each other in the width direction of the carrier device. Each wire unit 3 is so formed that a wire 5 is hung on pulleys 4, 6. The workpiece M is successively carried by repeating a cycle including a first stage that the first wire conveyor 1 carries the workpiece M, a second stage that the workpiece M is carried by mutually overlapping two pairs of wire conveyors 1, 2, a third stage that the second wire conveyor 2 carries the workpiece M, and a fourth stage that the workpiece M is carried by mutually overlapping again two pairs of wire conveyors 1, 2.
