Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for fine particles capable of immobilizing thereon fine particles such as catalyst fine particles.SOLUTION: A carrier for fine particles comprises a metal compact having a pore structure on a surface layer part. In the carrier for fine particles, the pore structure on the surface layer part of the metal compact has an open hole comprising a trunk hole having an opening part on the front side, and a branch hole formed in a direction different from the trunk hole from the internal surface of the trunk hole.
