Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a carrier-free pulverulent metalworking lubricant composition comprising at least two particulate lubricant components producing less smoke and oily dirt, and to provide a method for producing the composition.
CONSTITUTION: This invention relates to a pulverulent metalworking lubricant composition. In one preferred form, this composition contains at least two lubricant components, one of which comprises a resin having a highly polar functional group, and the composition is formed by a method comprising the steps of: (a) forming a dry mixture of the particulate lubricant components, and (b) agglomerating the admixture to form agglomerated particles.
