Abstract:
To provide a carrier tape that is durable enough for baking treatment of electronic components.
The carrier tape is formed with storage portions in which electronic components can be stored. The carrier tape can be obtained by passing a thermoplastic polyester resin sheet through a pair of withdrawal rolls, and then uniaxially stretching it. The carrier tape has a base material layer that has the rate at which the resin sheet is uniaxially stretched is 2.5 to 8 times, and 20 to 50% crystallinity.
