PURPOSE: To enhance the work efficiency of production control in a semiconductor production technology using a carrier tape by putting a mark, indicating the arranging order of semiconductor product mounting region, onto a long film arranged with a plurality of semiconductor product mounting regions in the long side direction.

CONSTITUTION: In a carrier tape where a plurality of semiconductor product mounting regions 3 are arranged on a long film 1 in the long side direction thereof, a mark 4 indicating the arranging order of mounting region 3 is put on the long film 1. For example, the indication mark 4 is provided for each mounting region 3 from the head part toward the tail part of the film 1 and indicates the arranging order of corresponding mounting region 3 from the head part toward the tail part of the film 1. The indication marks 4 comprises sequential numbers starting from the head part toward the tail part of the film 1 and thereby the order of each mounting region 3 from the head part of the film 1 can be determined.
