To provide a carry bag capable of easily transporting a burden even on an uneven ground or the like and being more safely used even on a sloping ground.
The carry bag includes a cylindrical bag body 2 which has a storage space 6 with an opening end 6a and a peripheral wall 8 continuing from a peripheral edge of an end wall 7 on one side thereof, a lid body 12 which can close the opening end 6a of the storage space 6 and forms the whole or a part of an end wall on the other side of the bag body 2, a one cylindrical rotation band 4 which is freely turnably fitted around the outside of the peripheral wall 8, a rotation unit 5 for rotating the rotation band 4, a braking mechanism 9 for braking the rotation band 4, and a gripper 3 which has an operation part 3a for operating the braking mechanism 9 and interlocks with the bag body 2.
