To provide a carrying apparatus which is excellent in the repeatability and the accuracy of carrying quantity, and can continuously carry materials into the inside of a die without deteriorating the consistency of the positioning of the die and a strip material, and further to provide a carrying method and a press forming apparatus.

A feed pin 13a is arranged such that its tip end is located between the carrying position and the pressing position. A moving section 8 moves the feed pin 13a toward the left side by a required distance when a second die 3 has ascended and only the feed pin 13a has penetrated an opened portion formed on the strip material 17a. The strip material 17a is carried toward the left side integrally with the feed pin 13a. Further, only the feed pin 13a is returned toward the right side when the second die 3 has descended together with the strip material 17a and only the positioning pin 10 of the second die 3 has penetrated the opened portion of the strip material 17a.
