To reduce a dislocation quantity of a position of an image recorded on each recording surface, when recording an image on both surfaces of a recording material reversed while setting the tip as it is.
A right upper part in a drawing is excessively cut out in paper P, and if the side end E1 is inclined, in this case, when forming the image on a surface, since the side end E1 is made to contact with a movable side guide 173 as indicated in the drawing (a), a plotting area is inclined rightward and upward. When forming the image on a reverse surface, since a position of the plotting area is determined when this side end E1 contacts with a fixed side guide 172 as indicated in the drawing (b), in this case, the plotting area is inclined in the rightward/downward direction, and is slantingly drawn more than a conventional plotting area. Thus, even if an image area is inclined by a cutting error by recording the image so that the side rend contacts with the side guide, the positional relationship between reverse and obverse images is matched.
