PURPOSE: To prevent a coin jam and improve the rail accuracy in the carrying device for medals, coins and the like in the title for an automatic vending machine by forming a curved projection on a rail surface, and a curved recess in a bucket, and causing the travel of the bucket with the projection engaged with the recess.

CONSTITUTION: Curved recesses 14a and 14a are formed at one end of the bottom plate 14 of a bucket 9, and rectangular recesses 14b and 14b formed at the other end thereof. Furthermore, the curved recesses 14a and 14a are engaged with the curved projections 12a and 12a of a rail 12 and in this state, the bucket 9 is moved along the rail 12. According to the aforesaid construction, a gap between the recess 14 and projection 12 is curved and rejects the ingress of a coin having a flat surface, thereby preventing a coin jam.
