The carrying device 1 is provided with: a rail unit 2 at least partially disposed in the railroad vehicle 50; a hanging unit 3 mounted to the railroad vehicle 50 and hanging the rail unit 2; and a suspending unit 4 suspending an air duct T from the rail unit 2. The rail unit 2 is mounted to the hanging unit 3 to move in the longitudinal direction, and the suspending unit 4 is mounted to the rail unit 2 to move in the longitudinal direction. An end portion 2a of the rail unit 2 is exposed out of the railroad vehicle 50, and the air duct T is suspended from the end portion 2a by the suspending unit 4. The rail unit 2 is moved in the longitudinal direction to store the end portion 2a into the railroad vehicle 50, thereby carrying the air duct T into the railroad vehicle 50.
