To solve a problem wherein the attitude of a planar workpiece attaining point is turned upside down in a conventional method, it is necessary for a worker to reverse upper and lower sides after removing the planer workpiece from a slider, and thereby workability is lowered.
In this carrying device, a rail 25 is made to have a two-line structure. A first wheel 43 provided on the slider 40 is made to go along a first guide rail 26. A second wheel 47 is made to go along a second guide rail 27. An arc-shaped third guide rail 28 is provided in mid-way of the second guide rail 27. An axle rotation mechanism 80 for rotating an axle for supporting the first wheel 43 by 90° is arranged at a circular arc center of the third guide rail 28. The first axle 43 is rotated and the second wheel 47 is guided to the third guide rail 28 to change the attitude of the slider 40. As a result, the attitude of the planar workpiece coincide at a point of starting time and a point of attaining time to improve workability.
