The carrying device 1 comprises a cylindrical casing 11 and the screw 13 stored therein coaxially with the casing 11 and connected to a motor part 14. By rotating the screw 11 with the drive of the motor part 14, the carried objects 6 are carried from a carry-in port 11a to a carry-out port 11b along the axial direction of the casing 11. In the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the casing 11, one or more pocket portions 10 are formed which is spaced from the outer edge of the screw 13 and in which part of the carried objects 6 enters.
