To provide a carrying device capable of changing a carrying speed only in a part of section in a predetermined route while moving an object to be carried at a constant speed along the predetermined route.

The predetermined route includes first routes A1-A2 connecting to an upstream side, third routes A4-A5 connecting to a downstream side and a second route A3 connected among these routes. The carrying device includes a route length change means for continuously changing respective route lengths of the first routes A1-A2 and the third routes A4-A5 while keeping total value of the respective route lengths of the first routes A1-A2 and the third routes A4-A5 constant in accordance with movement of a linear member L. In the linear member L, the moving speed of the part associating with the second route A3 becomes variable by continuously changing the respective route lengths of the first routes A1-A2 and the third routes A4-A5 by the route length change means while moving the linear member L along predetermined route.
