A rail device 11 and the moving body 20 movable on a fixed passage 5 while being supported and guided on the rail device 11 are provided. The moving body 20 has a plurality of guided devices 30 to be supported and guided on the rail device 11 and a supporting part 45 for carried materials W. A downward driven plane 40 is formed on the side of the moving body 20. At a certain point in the fixed passage 5, a rotationally moving body 64 to be upwardly put in contact with the downward driven plane 40 is arranged along the fixed passage 5. With the rotationally moving body 64 put in contact with the downward driven plane 40, the moving body 20 is made to travel integrally with the rotationally moving body 64 in the condition that the guided devices 30 are floated from the rail device 11. Thus, the moving body 20 can travel easily and suitably all times at desired pitches and at a high speed without causing slip between the rotationally moving body 64 and the downward driven plane 64.
