Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a matrix type tool magazine smaller, and increase the number of receivable tools by more heightening the receiving density of the tools in the matrix type tool magazine which can receive a large diameter tool in addition to an ordinary standard tool.
SOLUTION: In a matrix type tool magazine where tool pots for receiving a standard tool 7 and a large diameter tool 8 are arranged in a matrix shape, in the case of carrying the standard tool 7, a standard tool hand 30 is selected to detachably hold the held part of the standard tool, and in the case of carrying the large diameter tool 8, a large diameter tool holding means 31 is selected to detachably hold the held part 15b of the large diameter tool, and the standard tool hand 30 or the large diameter tool holding means 31 attaches arid detaches the standard tool or the large diameter tool to each tool pot.
