Abstract:
PURPOSE:To speedily carrying-in/out cars by installing multilayered car decks inclined in the direction from the bow part to the stern part and installing a belt conveyor movable in the direction from the bow part to the stern part onto the decks and forming opened ports for carrying-in/out onto the broadsides at an equal height level of the car decks and installing a belt conveyor movable in the direction of ship width. CONSTITUTION:Multilayered car decks 2 are installed in the direction from the bow part to the stern part, keeping a certain inclination angle, and a belt conveyor 6 movable in the direction from the bow pat to the stern part is installed onto the decks 2, and thus a longitudinal feeding apparatus is formed. Each independent opened port 3 for carrying-in/out cars is arranged at an equal height level onto the broadside of the car deck 2, and a belt conveyor 5 movable in the direction of ship width is installed towards the belt conveyor 6 in a hold from the opened ports 3. Therefore, loading work all together can be carried-out by utilizing the opened ports 3, and the loading work can be completed in a short time by utilizing the belt conveyors.
