To provide a carrying vehicle for meal service which is washed without a fear of a leak and by which meals are effectively kept warm and carried.
The carrying vehicle for meal service is provided with a storing box which is formed in a box shape, is provided with a door in one side part and has shelves 4 inside, where the meals are placed, casters 2 fitted to the bottom parts of the storing box 1, a heat storing body 5 arranged inside the box, a hot air passage 6 arranged in contact with the heat storing body 5, a connecting hole part 7 which is connected in communication with the end part of the passage 6 and is disposed in a part at the outside of the storing box and a hot air generator 10 which is arranged in the connecting hole part 7 so as to be attachable/detachable so as to blow hot air to the hot air passage 6 through the connecting hole part 7. The hot air generator 10 is previously inserted to the connecting hole part 7 of the storing box 1 and hot air is blown into the meal service carrying vehicle in a kitchen. Then the heat storing body 5 and the storing box 1 are previously heated, the meals and dishes, etc., of the meal service are stored and placed inside the heated storing box of the carrying vehicle and they are carried to rooms for providing the meals.
