PURPOSE: To secure the safety of an operator, to prevent trouble of medical apparatus and to ensure the normal operation of the apparatus by detecting that the inclination of a cart comes to a designated angle, announcing the status and stopping the supply of electric power to the medical apparatus.

CONSTITUTION: A cart 31 includes an inclination angle sensor 1 comprising a magnet and a lead switch, for example, a control circuit 2' for controlling an announcing device 3 adapted to detect that the inclination angle comes to a designated angle or more by the inclination angle sensor 1 and buzz or the like according to the detection and a power distributor 8, the announcing device 3, a power supply circuit 9 connected to the secondary side of an insulating transformer 7 and a storage battery 10 for charging and discharging a d.c. power supply of the power supply circuit 9. When the cart 31 inclines at a designated angle O, the inclination angle sensor 1 detects the inclination, and the control circuit 2' makes the announcing device 3 buzz and turns off a relay incorporated in the power supply distributor 8. Thus, the supply of power supplied to a monitor 15, a video processor 12, a light source device 13 and VTR 14 by the power supply distributor 8 is stopped.
