Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a carton for cans for packaging a plurality of containers such as cans which successfully answers problems accompanying conventional cartons for cans.
CONSTITUTION: Each of ends-bounding pieces against the ends of tubular structures has a triangular corner panel 14 which is formed in a pair, with respect to each of side walls, with another and joined to the side wall at one end. A pair of bounding panels 18, with respect to each of the side walls, are joined respectively with the corner panels in a foldable manner. Bottom end panels 2, 4 are joined with the bottom board at the terminating borders in a foldable manner. A connecting weblike structure 19 is joined along a first fold with each of the bounding panels at its bottom border in a foldable manner and along a second fold with either of the bottom end panels at each corner of the carton for cans in a foldable manner. Each of the corner panels and the corresponding bounding panel terminate at the upper border defined by a line 25, 26 that extends from a point at the edge of the side wall and near its upper border downward to a point positioned, when the carton for cans is erected in a closed state, on the back of the bottom end panel.
