PURPOSE: To shorten the time required for production by making a carboard- made cutter provided to a cutting position hardened simply and quickly to desired hardness.

CONSTITUTION: In a carton 1 which is so constructed that a wrapping web (such as wrapping film, aluminum foil, etc.) wound in a roll shape is pulled out, being unwound, through an opening 3 of the carton main body 2 and the pulled-out web is cut with a cutter 4 made of carboard provided to a cutting position of the carton main body 2, the area including a sawtooth-shaped part 4a of the front end of the cutter 4 is coated with ionizing radiation curing type resin and after that, the said area is dried and hardened in quick treatment by irradiation of ultraviolet rays or electron rays, and thereby desired hardness is given thereto. The cutter 4 may be formed separately and attached to the position for cutting.
