To provide a cartoning machine capable of correctly positioning a carton which is folded flat while improving the productivity.
The cartoning machine 1 includes a carton magazine 11 for storing flat cartons Cf in a stacked condition, a conveyor 13 for conveying the flat cartons Cf drawn out from the carton magazine 11, a positioning guide 14 capable of stopping the movement of the flat cartons Cf which are continuously moved by the conveying inertia by the conveyor 13, and determining the position of opening in a box shape, and a vacuum conveyor 15 which sucks and holds the flat cartons Cf conveyed by the conveyor 13, and delivers them to the positioning guide 14. Thus, even when the conveying speed is increased to improve the productivity, the vacuum conveyor 15 sucks and holds the flat cartons Cf, and delivers them to the positioning guide 14, and any throw-off or bounce of the flat cartons Cf by the conveying inertia by the conveyor 13 can be avoided, and the flat cartons can be correctly positioned.
