Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent cracks in an end member of a filter element by using a synthetic resin formed body which is obtained by inserting and including a mesh-like cloth during forming as the member.
CONSTITUTION: An end member 1 to support a filter material 2 and an inner cylinder 3 is obtd. by molding a synthetic resin such as urethane resin and vinyl chloride. When the material is formed by compression molding, a mesh-like cloth M is inserted and included into the formed body. By this method, the synthetic resin which constitutes the end member crosslinks through the mesh of the cloth M. Therefore, the end member can flexibly response for bending stress by using the cloth as the core, which prevents cracks by bending.
