Abstract:

To prevent a filter unit which is made of activated carbon fiber and formed like a bottom shape from being influenced by hot water to be swollen and deformed outward.

This cartridge filter for hot water is so constructed that a net body 9A which is made of synthetic resin having heat resistance and has wide mesh is made adhere to the outer peripheral part of a filter unit 7 which is formed like a bottomed cylinder and made of activated carbon fiber. In some case, a net body 9B is made adhere to the inner peripheral surface part of the filter unit 7. The outer peripheral part of the net body 9A made adhere to the outside of the filter unit is covered with a facing body 11 having small water passing resistance.
