To obtain the subject fuel comprising charcoal and very easy in the maintenance and handling of charcoal fire, to obtain a pilot light dish used for igniting or burning the fuel, and further to obtain a cooking stove using the fuel.
A charcoal group comprising charcoal pieces is received in a wire net bag. The charcoal group is preferably produced by arranging the charcoal pieces in a vertically disposed state. The charcoal group is more preferably produced by arranging the charcoal pieces in the lateral direction to form a plate-like charcoal group, and subsequently disposing plural projected charcoal rows at an equal distance in the prescribed direction of the lower surface of the charcoal group to form the approximately depressed side surfaces of the charcoal group. The wire net bag is preferably produced in an approximately depressed side surface shape in response to the shape of the charcoal group, and the whole lower surface is preferably formed in a pan bottom-like shape curved so as to be slightly protruded. A pilot light dish for burning the fuel is formed in a U-shaped shape wherein support pieces are vertically arranged at least at both the side edges of a rectangular base member. The side surfaces of the pilot light dish are preferably upward directed, and its central bottom surface is also preferably slightly upward protruded.
