PURPOSE: To reduce the change of the magnetic properties due to the impact and the vibration and thus to increase the dynamic range as well as enhance the linearity for the record player by using the non-magnetic distortion type non-crystalline magnetic metal to part of the component elements of the magnetic circuit.
CONSTITUTION: Cantilever 2 possessing stylus 3 is connected to magnetic circuit 6 via magnet 4 and damper 5. Circuit 6 consists of pole pieces 7L, 7l, 7R and 7r extending toward the extending direction of lever 2, legs 8L, 8l, 8r and 8R of each piece, and short core part 9 which gives the magnetic linkage to the upper end of each leg 8. And coil 10 is mounted to each leg 8 to reproduce the left signal via coils 10L and 10l as well as the right signal via coils 10R and 10r respectively. In this case, part 9 is formed by bending the amorphous metal thin belts previously into each prescribed shape and then unifying them through lamination.
