Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a teaching material which enables any one to comfortably plod away at production of a clay figure or a statue and to raise pleasure in finishing a highly satisfying work by taking away the fence that: only one's sensitivity and dexterity are reliable in the production of a clay figure or a statue; and makes a beginner feel a considerably higher fence in creating a work in spite of his or her desire to challenge.SOLUTION: The statue production teaching material is made by encircling and integrating the circumference of a completed engraving statue constituted of an engravable material with an easy-to-engrave material. The engraving material is integrally constituted of three layers of a thin carefully engraved layer close to the outer periphery of the completed statue, a roughly engraved layer encircling the carefully engraved layer, and softener roughly cut engraved layer, and is chromatically divided into the respective layers. The statue production teaching material includes a core body of clay figure production having a form whose size is smaller than the external size of the completed statue as the object of production by about a several mm.
