PURPOSE: To facilitate the assembly and the maintenance, and secure the sufficient flow quantity without liquid leakage by rotating a driven body in coupled with a driving body with the magnetic force working between each permanent magnet of the concentric driving body and the driven body which can be connected and disconnected freely.
CONSTITUTION: When a driving body 8 provided with a permanent magnet 7 is rotated for drive by a motor 3 of a cascade pump 1, the magnetic force from the permanent magnet 7 works to a permanent magnet 17 of an impeller 18 inside of a first stage pump unit 11, which is arranged in a pump case 2 freely to be disconnected and arranged so as to be concentric with the driving body 8, and the impeller 18 is interlocked with the driving body 8 for rotation. The led liquid from a suction port 13 of the pump unit 11 is therefore discharged to a discharge port 14 by the impeller 18. Next, with the rotation of the impeller 18, an auxiliary rotating plate 19 is rotated by the magnetic force working between the permanent magnet 17 and a permanent magnet 21 of the auxiliary rotating plate 19 of the first stage, and furthermore, with the rotation of the rotating plate 19, the impeller 18 of the rear stage is rotated by the magnetic force working between the permanent magnet 21 and the permanent magnet 17 inside of a pump unit 12 of the rear stage, and the led liquid from the suction port 13 of the unit 12 is discharged to an discharge port 14 by the impeller 18.
