Abstract:
To improve the starting property of a molten salt furnace with large output.
A compact melting salt furnace 5 is started by heating a hollow terminal 2-a for starting with a heat source 1 for starting such as an electric heater or a gas burner and by melting salt 2-b in a compact molten salt furnace 2, and then salt 5-b in the large melting salt furnace 5 is melted by heat being generated by the compact molten salt furnace 2, thus starting the large molten salt furnace 5.
