Abstract:
To provide a cascade unit improved in a degree of freedom in arranging pipes.SOLUTION: A cascade unit 2 is a cascade unit of a refrigeration system having a first circuit, a second circuit, and a cascade heat exchanger. The cascade unit includes the cascade heat exchanger, a second compressor, electric components, and a cascade casing 2x. The cascade casing 2x has a piping port O1 within a range from one end in a first direction to 1/3 of a width in the first direction. From the piping port O1, a first pipe and a second pipe connecting the cascade heat exchanger and a first heat exchanger of the first circuit, and a liquid pipe and a gas pipe connecting the cascade heat exchanger and a second heat exchanger of the second circuit are led out. The cascade casing 2x is provided with a wiring port O2 within a range from the other end in the first direction to 1/3 of the width in the first direction. From the wiring port O2, a wiring connected to the electric components is led out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
