Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that enables retention of a bolt, and which can reduce strain of a lid fixed by the bolt.SOLUTION: The case for an on-board controller comprises: a main body portion; a lid 20 of a memory card slot of the on-board controller; and a bolt 30 for fixing the lid to the main body portion through a through-hole 21 formed at the lid. The main body portion has a standing portion 13 including: an insertion space 13b for the bolt, the insertion space being located inside a wall surface standing, in a threading engagement direction of the bolt, from a contact surface with the lid; and an internal thread portion 13c that is formed at an inner most portion of the insertion space, and to which the bolt is to be threadably engaged. The bolt includes: a head portion 31 or a washer 32 of which a diameter, in a direction perpendicular to the threading engagement direction, is greater than that of the insertion space; a small diameter portion 33 that is formed inside, in the threading engagement direction, of the head portion or the washer, and of which a diameter in the perpendicular direction is less than that of the through-hole of the lid; and a large diameter portion 34 that is formed inside, in the threading engagement direction, of the small diameter portion, and of which a diameter in the perpendicular direction is larger than that of the small diameter portion, less than that of the insertion space, and equal to or larger than that of the through-hole of the lid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
