Abstract:

To provide a case body and coffin that can be easily and firmly assembled without using nonflammable substances such as metals for their assembly elements.

A coffin proper 23, constituted of corrugated cardboard wherein an A-side plate 12, a B-side plate 13, a C-side plate 16, and a D-side plate 17 are raised on a bottom plate 11, while these side plates are mutually connected, is so constituted that hooked sections 33 are formed by being bent on the connecting strips 31 provided at both the ends of the mutually opposing A-side plate and B-side plate, while the opposing C-side plate and the D-side plate are constituted such that, on both sides of a core member 45, an inner plate 43 and an outer plate 44 are fixed, with the inside of the inner plate corresponding to the cut-out portion 48 of the core member being cut out to become a lock portion 49, into which the hooked section 33 is fitted, thus the mutually adjoining A-side plate, C-side plate, B-side plate and D-side plate are connected.
