PURPOSE: To obtain a case for an electronic device capable of observing a liquid crystal display device even in a state of opening an open door in the electronic device such as a telephone set having the liquid crystal display device on an upper side of the opening door and having a cassette tape and an operation section such as an operation button at the lower side.

CONSTITUTION: A groove 10 is provided on both side walls of an operation section 9 of an electronic device such as a telephone set and a projection 11 is provided in the groove 10, a liquid crystal display device 5 is provided on the upper side of an opening door 2 and a claw 3 engaged with the groove 10 and a recessed part engaged with the projection 11 are provided to the inside of both the side walls. The opening door 2 is opened slidably along with the groove 10 and the liquid crystal display device 5 is observed even when the opening door 2 is open.
