Abstract:
To provide a case manufacturing method which can accurately align members with each other during manufacturing of a case.SOLUTION: In a case manufacturing method, a plurality of divided plate materials 1 formed by dividing a peripheral wall 10 of a case in a peripheral direction are formed, and at least one protrusion 1c is formed on a surface of one divided plate material 1a of adjacent divided plate materials 1 in the vicinity of an end edge of the one divided plate material. The plurality of divided plate materials 1 are housed in a jig 2 which guides the divided plate materials 1 to a combining position of the peripheral wall 10. By moving the jig 2 is to the combining position and bringing the end edge into contact with the protrusion 1c on the one divided plate material 1a of the adjacent divided plate materials 1, the plurality of divided plate materials 1 are temporarily held. The end edges of the adjacent divided plate materials 1 of the plurality of divided plate materials 1 which are being temporarily held are joined to each other, thus forming the peripheral wall 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
