Abstract:
To enhance load resistance characteristics of a battery pack and enhance cooling characteristics of a battery stack.
A case of the battery pack 10 incorporating the battery stack has an upper case 12 and a lower case 14. The upper case 12 has an arch shape comprising a curved surface not a plane surface. The upper case 12 has a chamber space formed in the upper part of the incorporated battery stack, and cooling air sucked from an air intake 16 is supplied to the chamber space. The upper case 12 formed in the arch shape prevents the deformation of the chamber space against a load from the upper part and at the same time, adjusts the cooling characteristics of the battery stack.
