The cash handling device 10 includes a bill pickup part 11, an image display part 12, and a control part 25. The bill pickup part 11 picks up the bill inserted by the person. The image display part 12 displays at least part of a bill image 20 picked up by the bill pickup part 11. The control part 25 controls the image display part 12 according to pickups by the bill pickup part 11 and displays at least part of the image in a visible manner for the person having inserted the bill on the image display part 12.
