The cash operation system has a money storage 1 for storing the money M used in transactions; a counting/denomination identifying device 2 for taking the money M out of the money storage 1 and identifying the denomination and counting the money; a bundling device 3 for bundling a predetermined number of money identified by the counting/denomination identifying device 2; and an operation management server 5 for controlling the money storage 1, the counting/denomination identifying device 2 and the bundling device 3. The operation management server 5 consistently performs the operations of controlling the counting/denomination identifying device 2 and the bundling device 3, identifying the kind of money M taken out of the money storage 1, conveying the money to the bundling device 3, and classifying a predetermined number of money by denomination.
