Abstract:
To enable a cash depositing transaction that exceeds the maximum capacity of a temporary holding unit to be performed.SOLUTION: A cash processing device includes: a money depositing slot that accepts deposit of cash; a counting unit that counts the cash; a temporary holding unit that temporarily holds the counted cash; a storage unit that stores the cash; a money dispensing slot that dispenses the cash; and a control unit that executes control of conveying the cash input to the money depositing slot to the counting unit, and counting the cash, conveying and returning cash that exceeds the maximum capacity of the temporary holding unit to the money dispensing slot, conveying cash held in the temporary holding unit to the storage unit for storage, then conveying cash input again through the money depositing slot to the counting unit, and performing counting by the counting unit continuously as a single transaction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
