In a financial institution or a card issue company, the fingerprint of at least one finger of a customer is previously read by a fingerprint reader and is inputted to a host computer inputted with customer's information as digital data. A storefront cash processor such as an ATM is connected and provided with a fingerprint reader. The customer inputs data necessary for the cash processing to the storefront cash processor such as the ATM and makes the provided fingerprint reader read his fingerprint. When the fingerprint coincides with the fingerprint inputted to the host computer, the data inputted to the cash processor is connected to the customer data inputted to the host computer to execute the cashing processing. The fingerprint is inputted to a bank card, a credit card or a debit card instead of the secret code number or in addition to the secret code number, and the fingerprint is used as the identification means instead of the secret code number or in addition to the secret code number.
