Abstract:
PURPOSE:To clear the account of a merchandise without using cash by subtracting the price of the merchandise from an amount of money, inputted in a magnetic card, and writing the subtracted result in the magnetic card as a new amount of memory data. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed amount of money data is inputted in the magnetic card 11 beforehand. When the magnetic card 11 is inserted into a card inserting opening 31, the amount of memory data of the magnetic card 11 is read and displayed on a displaying part 15. Next, when the price of the merchandise, a customer bought, is inputted from a data inputting part 16, the said inputted data is displayed on the displaying part 15, and at the same time, it is subtracted from the amount of money data by an operating part, and the subtracted result is also displayed. The data of the inputted price and a balance, which is the subtracted result, are printed on a form 32 by a printing part 17, and besides, the said balance is written in the magnetic card 11 as the new amount of money data.
