Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing adaptable for a device for sampling underground water or a hydraulic test of a stratum, having an expansive and contractive function and capable of transmitting a turning force or a compressive force.
SOLUTION: A part of a packer 2 inserted in a hole excavating underground by an excavating machine is constituted in an external packer structure provided with a plurality of metallic plates between rubber tubes. Pressure water is supplied into a packer chamber 25 of an inner packer 3 inserted into the packer 2 to press the rubber tube of the inner packer 3 and elastically deform the external packer for expansion or contraction to the excavation hole in order to prevent water intrusion of other strata and perform a water sampling or a hydraulic test in a specified stratum. The packer 2 having the external packer structure has an expansion and contraction function and can transmit a force in the radial and axial directions through a metallic plate.
