Title:
CASING TUBE SPACER FOR METHOD OF PROPULSIVE CONSTRUCTION AND CASING TUBE FOR THE METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0396595
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To lay an odd-shpaed buried tube through the method of propulsive construction by adjusting the height of spacers by forming the front ends of a plurality of the spacers radially arranged onto the outer circumference of the support section of a casing tube in a slidable manner to the inwall of the buried tube.

CONSTITUTION: Clamping sections 22 are installed at each end section of a two-part band 12, and a plurality of spacers 16 are disposed and fixed radially onto the outer circumference of the band 12. A casing tube 14 is held by both pieces of the two-part band 12, and the clamping sections 22 are clamped by bolt-nuts 24. When an oval tube is used as a buried tube 26, two lower legs 18 and an upper leg 18 are set so that the length of the legs is made to differ so as to optimize the position of the center of gravity in the buried tube of the casing tube 14. The band 12 is formed so that the casing tube 14 is drawn smoothly and the front end section of a sleigh 20 is shaped so as to be warped inward. Accordingly, the oval tube can be laid through the method of propulsive construction.
