PURPOSE: To obtain a high-reliability, low-cost cassette locking mechanism, by providing a sliding plate with a lock part which fixes a pin when a cassette holder is pressed to the lower part of the guide groove of a guide plate.
CONSTITUTION: The sliding plate 6 is provided with lock parts 6c for pins 3, which are locked by the lock parts 6c to prevent the cassette holder 2 from moving. When the cassette holder 2 is pressed as shown by an arrow F1, the lock parts 6c of the sliding plate 6 strike the pins 3 and as the cassette holder 2 moves, the sliding plate 6 also moves in the guide grooves of the guide plate 4 to stay at the lower part of the guide groove finally. Then, the sliding plate 6 is returned by the tensile force of a spring in the inserting direction of a cassette disk, and the lock parts 6c clamps the pins 3 and then locks them to prevent the cassette holder 2 from moving.
