Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight cast aluminum wheel with no defects and at low cost.
SOLUTION: This cast aluminum wheel is composed of a rim part, a spoke part 11 and a hub fitting part. The spoke part 11 consists of an intermediate rib 15 disposed on the widthwise center in he other side of the spoke part 11, a base plate part 14 disposed on both the sides of the intermediate rib 15 and a decorative hole rib 16 arranged on the outside of the base plate part 14 so as to surround the periphery of a decorative hole. The plate thickness of the casting shape base is increased in order of the base plate part 14, the intermediate rib 15 and the decorative hole rib 16, or the intermediate rib 15 is formed thicker than the base plate 14 and equal to or more than the decorative hole rib 16. Thereafter, the intermediate rib 15 is cut from the other side by means of a slice processing.
