To provide a cast-in-place pile construction method which prevents cross sectional breakage that easily occurs particularly in a pile head without the execution of soil improvement or the exchange of soil for good-quality soil even if construction target ground is soft, and ensures a design dimension, and to provide a cast-in-place pile construction apparatus.

The cast-in-place pile construction method is carried out by excavating the interior of a cylindrical casing 1 press-fitted into the ground 7 while being rotated with respect to the ground 7, removing excavated soil, and drawing out the cylindrical casing 1 while concrete 3 is placed in the cylindrical casing 1, to thereby construct a concrete pile in the ground 7. According to the method, when the placed concrete 3 reaches a specified height, the upper surface of the concrete 3 is pressurized by compressed air generated by an air compressor 9, and the self-weight of the concrete 3 and the pressure of the compressed air are made to resist to the pressure of the peripheral ground 7 on the periphery of the cylindrical casing 1.
