The cast iron has a structure in which a hard phase including steadite and a flake graphite phase 10 are dispersed in a pearlite phase 20 that is a base phase mainly composed of pearlite in a predetermined manner. Of a ferrite phase 20A and a cementite phase 20B precipitated in layers in the pearlite phase 20, the precipitation ratio of the cementite phase 20B is increased to a predetermined ratio.
